KidKnits Yarn:

Kid Knits kits come in five colors of yarn. These color names are taken from the native language in Rwanda: Kinyarwandan. The yarn is a very soft merino wool blend, and each ball is carefully hand-spun in Rwanda. All of our yarn is hand-dyed using natural dyes commonly found in Rwanda. Our yarn color names are:

Indabo, which means flower, is our orange yarn.
Ikigina is our brown yarn, and means brown.
Inturusu, which means eucalyptus, is our yellow yarn.
Umweru, which means white, is our natural, undyed yarn.
Dejina, the newest KidKnits color, is a deep shade of green.

Coreopsis flower petals are used to dye the Indabo, or orange, yarn.
