KidKnits is so fortunate to have True Vineyard Ministries as our partner.  Through a brief meeting at Immaculee Ilibagiza's speaking engagement in Austin last May, we began to develop a deep and lasting relationship with this amazing organization. TVM is committed to sustainable growth in Rwanda.  Through the Handspun Hope program, they have taught a group of fifteen widows in Rwanda that there is real value in a sheep's wool, counter to the conventional wisdom in this part of the world.  They have been steadily growing their flock of sheep, with twenty new sheep arriving recently and now, fifteen women are  trained on how to spin and dye this 100% natural merino-blend yarn and are focused on producing the highest quality natural yarns for KindKnits!
